Tarot cards – Indication of Love

Let’s talk about Tarot cards that have an indication of love.  Tarot cards are often used as a tool for gaining insights into various aspects of life, including love and relationships. While individual interpretations may vary, there are several tarot cards commonly associated with love and romantic matters. Here are a few of them:

Two of Cups

The Two of Cups indicates a strong bond between two people and often reflects the commitment made to one another within a monogamous relationship.  Two of Cups is a wonderful card to appear in a love reading since the card represents two people working well together, there is a strong bond. This can mean in a relationship that personalities can help even each other out and support each other in their weak areas. The Two of Cups can show that there are fewer fights and arguments in a relationship as well.

Ten of Cups

The Ten of Cups is typical of a happy family within a warm and loving home. It reflects the presence of deep family values and a feeling of completion, having found the perfect partner and having raised the perfect children.  Another one of the most fortunate love tarot cards in the deck, the ten of cups is a card of emotional fulfillment and lasting happiness. There is a strong foundation for the relationship – and it can indicate a successful marriage, birth or general delight in love together.

Ten of Cups is a fantastic card that can come up when a person is having a love reading. Tarot mentions that the Ten of Cups can represent happiness, joy, and fulfillment in a relationship.  Hearing this in a love reading can help people take a step back and see how this relationship is different than past ones. If this card comes up in a reading it could mean a pending marriage proposal or possible pregnancy. No matter what, this card means that life is going to change in a big way for whoever gets it in their reading.

Four of Wands

The Four of Wands is a card of celebration and a safe and secure home environment. It often reflects a wedding, engagement or other event whereby a relationship is becoming more serious. The Four of Wands is a card that everyone wants to come up in a love reading. Biddy Tarot says that the Four of Wands signifies a safe and secure home environment. This is an important card to come up in a love reading if a couple lives together. This shows that a couple is comfortable living together and does not feel like they are walking on eggshells around each other. The Four of Wands can also represent a significant moment in a couple’s life such as a proposal or marriage.

The Devil

The Devil card can reveal a layer of their relationship that is all about passion.  This card represents patterns of toxic behavior, addictions, or unhealthy attachments that can affect relationships. It suggests that there may be negative influences or patterns that need to be addressed within a romantic connection. This could involve codependency, obsession, or any form of emotional or psychological entrapment.

Ten of Pentacles

The Ten of Pentacles reflects a well-established relationship (typically a marriage or defacto relationship) and a solid family life. Much like the ten of cups, the ten of pentacles is closely related to family and close family ties. This card can mean that the relationship is established and stable. As a love tarot card, the ten of pentacles can mean taking the next step – whether living together or marriage, or creating a family.  Ten of Pentacles indicates strong bonds and opportunities in a relationship.

Hierophant

The Hierophant represents tradition, structure and religion. This card can therefore indicate a long-term, committed relationship or marriage that is very traditional.  The Hierophant may on the surface seem like the least steamiest card in the deck, but because of its strong connections to tradition and organized religion, it can also indicate marriage. In love, this tarot card can mean a deep commitment between two individuals.  when the Hierophant card appears in a love reading it can represent marriage. This is because this card in this context there is a deep connection and commitment between two people. Many times when a person goes to a love reading it is because they want to know if their partner is committed, and this card will surely ease a person’s mind if this card comes up.

Ace of Cups

The Ace of Cups heralds a new relationship filled with excitement, joy and happiness. This is the type of bliss you once experienced as a teenager in love, with butterflies in your stomach and a desire to spend every waking minute with your new love.  The ace of cups brings fresh energy in regards to the world of emotions. It can mean that a new love is coming into your life, whether in the form of another person, or a renewal of a bond in your current relationship. It is the love tarot card of potential – so other cards will be needed to turn attraction into action.  Ace of Cups appears in a love reading it will be a symbol of that kind of once-in-a-lifetime love.

Knight of Cups

The Knight of Cups is your ‘knight in shining armor’ and appears in a reading when you are being courted or romanced by someone special. He /she is attractive, creative and in touch with his/her feelings – very much the SNAG (sensitive new-age guy) type.  Knight of Cups shows up in a love reading that’s exactly the kind of person this card represents. This shows that the partner is very romantic and in touch with their feelings. If the Knight of Cups shows up in a love reading the person who gets this card should be very happy they are with a person who isn’t afraid to show how they are feeling.

Empress

The Empress is a beautiful, abundant, fertile and expressive woman. She represents sensuality within a relationship and is indicative of a deeply fulfilling connection between you and your partner.  A symbol of Planet Earth, the Empress card can symbolize unconditional love as well as sensuality and pleasure. Because of her association with nature and the harvest, this tarot card can also indicate pregnancy, fertility, and the birth of a child.  Getting this card can mean that a person has found a partner that will love them no matter what, and can be a great contender for spending the rest of their lives together.

Emperor

The Emperor reflects a very sturdy male figure and may suggest the presence of a long-term partner.  In the context of relationships, the Emperor can suggest the need for establishing boundaries, maintaining a sense of order, and taking responsibility. It may indicate the presence of a partner who exhibits strong leadership qualities or a need for stability and structure within a relationship.

The Sun

Traditionally, the Sun represents success, joy and happiness – as well as harmony between conscious and unconscious. In love, this is no different. This card can mean happiness in love, and can even mean marriage or prosperity.  The Sun card represents a period of abundance, optimism, and harmony. In the context of love, it signifies a time of deep emotional fulfillment, joyous connections, and mutual understanding. It suggests that love and relationships are flourishing and that there is a strong sense of positivity and vitality within them.

The Lovers

The Lovers! Need I say more? The Lovers is the ultimate Tarot card for the indication of love.  It represents a unique bond and deep connection between two people. Its presence in a reading reflects a very authentic relationship that is built on mutual trust and respect. Naturally, one of the most favorable love tarot cards to draw in a reading is the Lovers. This tarot card has a strong connection to love and relationships. It represents a strong connection between two people where there is tender affection and admiration. But on a subtler level, it can also indicate choices – and making the right choice when it comes to love.

Like all Tarot readings, it is up to the interpretation of the reader and other cards will affect the meaning of the cards.  If you are looking for that indication of love, some times the best thing one can do is look deep within oneself.   These are some of my favorites regarding love and relationships!
