Medium You Want

I may not be the Medium you want, but I am pretty sure you need me.  Okay even to me that seems a rather egotistical, yet we really need to have an uncomfortable conversation about mediumship.   I have had several people push my boundaries with regards to readings.

Lately I have been getting calls from people that want a reading RIGHT NOW!  Not willing to accept that Zoom or phone are the only way I am booking due to Covid-19.  I have my elderly mother-in-law living with me and I must protect her.  Having to have a reading last minute and not wanting to wait until my next opening.  Surly I can make an exception for them, they will even pay extra.   Totally unsympathetic that I have concerns for my health and that of my loved ones.

Some examples of reasons they need a reading include:

  • Belief that they have (fill in the blank) and I need to know what to do.
  • They think that they have a curse on them that they need removed.
  • Aunt Sally always knew what to do about the boyfriend.
  • My boss hates me and I need to know what do with my career.
  • Their business is in ruins and they need to know what to do next.
  • What about a romantic partner – how do I find them.
  • They just lost a loved one and they want to hear from them.

You get the idea.   There is something that has happened outside of their control and they want it back to the way it was.   They know the answers they are seeking deep in their heart.   They just don’t like that answer and they are looking for someone, anyone to tell them otherwise.   I get it, I have been there.   The reality is that we cannot always have it that way and that Spirit moves in ways to spur us to better versions of ourselves.

What I don’t do

I don’t stop everything for a last minute appointment.    This is a profession where my time is valuable.  Nothing that I would say in a reading is life and death.   It can always wait.   It is my job to understand that nuance of readings.   If you are in crisis about a loss of a loved one, a relationship breakup, or trouble with a boss — you need a trained Therapist, not a Psychic Medium.

If you are worried about your health — please seek out medical advice.   I cannot assist you, I do not have the medical training to detect or treat any ailment you are seeking advice about.  In fact it is a violation of most state laws.    Same goes for legal, accounting and therapy related questions.   Seek the proper professionals for those types of questions.

Do you believe you have a curse placed on you?  I don’t remove curses for people.  Mainly because I don’t believe in them.   So they have no power in my world.   I believe in cause and effect from our free will.  Yes, things happen outside of our control.   But I also believe that they happen because we resist making necessary changes in our lives.   The harder you resist, the bigger the changes happen out of our control.

Again, you do not need a Medium, you need someone in the Metaphysical world that does this sort of thing.   There are plenty out there.  But I caution you — buyer beware.   If there truly is a curse that needs removing, they will do it lovingly and not charge you.   Same goes for a house blessing because you believe you have a ghost.   Don’t even get me started about Ghost Hunting.   They may ask you to donate to a cause that is dear to their heart, that is when you know you are dealing with someone truly working in the light.

What about grief?

I don’t like doing a reading for someone who has lost a loved one for several months after the death.  There is grieving that needs to happen and when you are in that deep grief, it has never been beneficial to do a paid reading in that state.   EVER.   Since grief is individual and the same person can grieve differently for different people it is just better to not have a reading in that state of grief.

My guideline is no sooner than 3 months after a death but closer to a year.  Do meaningful messages come across?  Yes, but they happen organically and often without a Medium present.  This usually appears as a friend or relative saying something at the right moment needed that the departed soul would have said.  Or the person is aware enough to see the signs left by their loved one.   I see them happen in a church setting the most when there is no exchange of money during the demonstration portion of a service.   Spirit wants that kind of love shared freely.

I am the Medium You Want

Once I decided to work with Spirit I made some important decisions.  I don’t deal with negative Spirits, only those that will work with me in a kind and loving way.   Always for the highest and best.  Over time, I have built strong boundaries not only with Spirit but others as well.   I learned many lessons from Real Estate, the most important was managing my time and not being a Pop Tart when someone called wanting something right now.

I know what I am comfortable doing and confident enough to say no to the things that I am not.   You won’t find me on a Ghost Hunt, I do not perform Physical Mediumship, I do not craft or break spells.  I am a basic Psychic Medium who also teaches others in that discipline.

Sure, I use sage in my home.  I collect all sorts of crystals and pendulums.  Essential oils can be found in my home.   I read Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and Hindu teachings.  My beliefs are varied.   I have been known to use energy traps.  In fact, my respect for the practice of witchcraft is high.  Therefore, I do not practice it.  I love astrology, numerology and lately I love using Tarot. I even have a cool collection of decks.

If you want advice, I am happy to sit and chat with you about that situation you are struggling with — as a friend or mentor.   If I think you need help, I am going to suggest that you seek out professional assistance.

Business or Career Advice

When you need insight for your business, I am your Medium.   I take my business experience, combine my intuition and my connection to Spirit to give you things to think about and apply.   The same can be said for your career.  Because you have free will, you can do with what you like with the information.

I don’t have a lot of repeat customers.   That is okay with me.   It is my understanding that they were only with me the one time to move forward.   Those that do come back trust my connection and have a need for additional answers.   They may be people who received business/career guidance coming for a personal reading, or vice versa.

Because I am guided by ethics, I am not sitting on some hotline waiting to take your call for $1.99 a minute.  You will also not find me at every psychic fair in the region.   Regrettably for you; I do not take last minute readings.   If that is what you are looking for, I am definitely not the Medium you want.    And, I am okay with that.
