Real Love Can Be Found

We are during a time of resolutions and fresh start, especially when it comes to real love.   Many are seeking that perfect relationship and as a result may be tired and frustrated.   The holidays have past and soon Valentine’s Day will be upon us.   If you are single, you may be wondering if you will ever find your one true real love.   I know this feeling only too well.   I spent countless years alone searching for the right person to share my life with.

On June 16, 2018 I married my life partner, soul mate, and love of my life.  It was only after sitting down and writing a Desire Statement on January 19, 2016.   Three prior ones written between January 2014 and the date of the last one failed for one reason or another.   They were the framework of the one I share with you.

Real Love is Available to You

It took a little time, but once I was clear in my head what I wanted, the Universe was able to provide it.   I want to give you hope that it is possible.   That my sharing my personal statement will give you the confidence to try it.  Do not be afraid to rewrite it.  You are changing over time; your growth will change what you want.  It is also possible that you see that it is all about you and not how you interact with this person.  Earlier version of my statement had a lot about what this person looked like (height, build, age, hair color, eye color, their sense of style).  My last version only had:  He will have a twinkle in his eyes and his smile will melt my heart.

Put as much detail in as you can think, but do not be too specific.   Define how the relationship feels and functions without putting too much emphasis on who that person is.   It may take several tries and revisions.  This was my fourth one and the one I committed to.   It is everything that I need and want in a relationship.   Remember to leave room for you and your partner to grow together.

Don’t be Afraid to Change Your Criteria

You may have different criteria and statements.    Earlier versions were not open, full of too much detail on things that did not matter.   When it came down to it, I needed to decide on how I wanted to feel with this person the framework of how we would be together.   Keep that in mind when writing your own statement.

I first shared this with my husband in January of 2018 after we had decided to marry.   The funny thing was I had forgotten about it and came across it as I was going through some papers.   What was amazing was that it described our relationship perfectly.   Still does, well except we now have two cats.  But you get the idea…

I hand wrote the original statement and signed and dated it.   I do not have the previous ones once I committed to a new one.  I took the prior ones and burned them with the intention to release that version as it no longer served me.  This is the power of intention.   I hope this helps you find your soul mate, life partner or love of your life.

A good friend once said unless you define it the Universe cannot give it to you.   This is the framework to create your own.   Have faith, it will not come the moment you put it out there, but in time you may just be surprised.  I know I was.
