There are no accidents in life, everything happens for a reason.   We may not always know why, but we certainly can trust when they do happen it is something we must pay attention to.   This quote from Marcus Aurelis came exactly when I needed to see it.   “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.  Everything we see is perspective, not the truth.”

There is a situation where I questions what I am hearing from a certain source.  Deep down inside me I hear this voice saying “there has to be more” it is a hotbed situation and it really makes me nervous.

Over the weekend I got another view of a situation and that voice deep down inside said “see I told you there is more, keep digging.”  The more I dug, the more I saw that it is not always so clear cut what is right and wrong.   That sometimes you must filter information you get from various parties before reacting.   We are after all, human.  The fact is we all have desires and are motivated differently.   When confronted with a situation that is being motivated by fear, it is hard no be calm.   Greed causes another motivation while pride and having to be right yet different responses.

You see, I have learned over the years, there is two sides to a story and the truth.    Both sides may be correct, but it really is how they are looking at it.   Not everyone is willing to get up and move to see it from the other person’s point of view.   Trust yourself and take the time to listen and learn as much information as you can.    Find what is motivating yourself and others.   When you understand the motivation, it is easier to react calmly and without emotions.  You see there are no accidents, just lessons we need to learn so our soul’s may grow.
