Making your life easy is not as difficult as you would think.   Perhaps that is the problem, we over complicate things.   Life is easy, it is all the things that we do as humans that complicate things.  Today easy is what my daily life is.   My husband and I are settled into a routine even though there is chaos all around us.   We have family things going on, his work is picking up and I am in the midst settling our home after our move.

Over the past year we both have had health issues that have been addressed.  We have had to slow down so that one or the other of us could recover from surgery.  There is my Spiritual work and I have stepped my feet back into the world of consulting.

So what makes this easy for us?   How did things change for the two of us?   And probably the question in the front of your mind — is it possible for you?   Well it all started with our own journeys.   We both had some tough experiences, that prepared us for what we have now.  We have no regrets, we also watched each other for over 30 years, and that friendship remains our foundation.

How to make your life easy

What changed was the fact that we look at each day as a blessing.   Some days are tougher than others, but they are there.   We have each other and we get everything done when it gets done.   There is finding our new balance with our daily life and our ability to say “everything is a mess and that is okay.”   We don’t beat ourselves up over the chaos.   We have a plan (albeit a very long term plan) and things will settle out.   Every day we address what is needed and let go of our need to be perfect.   That word is a nice to have, but definitely not a requirement in our lives.   As a result we have found perfect in moments and each other.   We have found patience in waiting and grace in the process.

To make your life easy — take the time to prioritize.   If you fail to meet a deadline you set, give yourself breathing room and celebrate what you did accomplish.   Always be grateful and soon your life will become easy too!
