I will not

I will not tell you what to do.   But I want to propose a challenge to you.  Today is July 1.   Start of a new month and a new idea.  How many times do we do little things that affect us negatively? I thought a bit about this and thought what if…  Today I will not ______________.

This is a prompt to stop doing thing that are not in your best interest.  You know things like:

  • speak negatively about other
  • leave dishes in the sink
  • judge other people
  • eat junk food
  • bite my nails
  • be late for any appointments
  • gossip
  • get upset about the lack of my progress
  • try and control how someone else acts
  • push my opinion on others
  • be negative
  • compare myself to others
  • beat myself up
  • be mad that things are unfair

You get the idea, fill in the blank.  Think about the things that hold you back from becoming the best version of you!   Go ahead and start working on them one at a time.   Little by little improve your life by the small changes.   It doesn’t have to be big changes.   Sometimes it is just a matter of changing how you see and think about things.

Go and make today a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
