I have a career that is dedicated to service. It is a good one, Real Estate is full of changes every day. I love the challenges it brings me being part of helping people find their forever homes or into a larger home. I struggle when they have a home to sell because of financial pressures or a change in their forever plan.Before you think that being a Medium gives me an advantage over other REALTORS you would be wrong. Somehow the Universe has a way of keeping the balance. Kind of like the fact that playing the lottery I have no advantage.
I used to think that something must be so terribly wrong with me because I took these transitions for others so deeply. I have since learned to better shield myself from those emotions.
Spiritual Awakening Changed Real Estate for me
Fast forward through my Spiritual Awakening, I understand now I was receiving information for another source for each of these people. Why I would know as we walked in to a home yes or no. Why I would put a home in front of someone that absolutely did not meet what they said they wanted yet it was the home for them.
When I started this journey, I counseled a couple out of purchasing a home because I couldn’t live with the fact that they would soon be divorced. I didn’t tell them that, I told them that they were not ready to purchase a home. That they really needed to sit down and discuss their needs and fully understand what was their goals were and what they really wanted in a house. They decided to not purchase a home at the time.
Two years later, I am talking with one of them about purchasing a home on their own. He thanked me for not pushing them to purchase a home they both were hesitating on. The reason he called me was because he figured out that I had seen the breakdown long before they had. They were both desperate to fix a failing relationship and they thought purchasing a home would solve the problem. He is still at least another year away from being able to purchase a home. I know he will call me when the time is right.
Service to others
As a Medium I serve others by being the way information can be conveyed to another. Much like a telephone operator I make the connections and get the communication flowing. As a REALTOR I serve people in the process of buying and selling a home. Very often these two parts of me come together to help someone. More often than not, it plays no effect in my being able to help a person buy or sell property.
