Every year, as I approach Thanksgiving, I embark on a reflective journey to choose three words that will guide me in the upcoming year. These terms become more than goals; they act as my compass, influencing my daily actions, mindset, and interactions. For 2024, my guiding words were Nurture, Action, and Today, and as the year comes to a close, I can see just how transformative they have been. Before selecting my words for 2024 it is helpful to reflect on them and the past year.

Why I Chose Nurture, Action, and Today

The process of selecting these words was both intuitive and intentional. Nurture felt natural, aligning with my commitment to create a supportive environment in both my professional and personal life. It represented the care and attention I devoted to my development circles, relationships, and self-care. Action emerged as a counterbalance, urging me to move beyond reflection and take meaningful steps forward. Today served as an anchor, reminding me to stay present and make the most of each moment.

How Nurture Shaped My Year

Choosing Nurture brought profound growth to my relationships and work. It reminded me to consistently hold space for others, fostering their development and confidence.
