Power of Visualization

The Benefits and Power of Visualization

There is power in visualization, to see yourself where you want to be.   The power of intention is at your fingertips.  This can be work, personal and even with your mediumship!  If you can see the goal by envisioning it and believe it because you have supporting facts, you are more likely to achieve it. This can be done through the process of visualization. Visualization requires you to want something and imagine that you are already there or doing it. While visualization itself doesn’t automatically equal success, it is a tool that makes it one step easier to get there. It’s about seeing, feeling, and believing in what you want and can do to get the life you dreamed of.

A simple example of visualization is to imagine your life as if you accomplished all your goals and are living your success. What does it feel like? What exactly does it look like and require? Imagine as many details as you can. Think of it as the visual component of your business or life plan. The clearer and more obvious it is, the easier it becomes to achieve it. Visualization is beneficial because it:

    • Provides motivation, focus, and determination
    • Reduces stress and anxiety
    • Increases your confidence and self esteem
    • Improves creativity and innovation
    • Empowers you to take charge and control of your life

Here are three easy steps to follow to take advantage of the power visualization can have on your life:

Step One: Know What You Want

What provides feelings of happiness for you and gets you going each day? Where do you want to take your life, or what experiences do you want to have? Just think for a moment if you had zero roadblocks, what would you do and why? If you don’t know what you want, it’s unlikely visualization will be useful as the images you create won’t be consistent or conclusive, and unclear.

Step Two: Break Down the Requirements

What tools, materials, or other requirements do you need to get what you want? Imagine the possible roadblocks that can appear along the way and solutions to them.

Step Three: Take Action and Get Moving

The power of visualization only works if you take action. Seeing it and believing it means nothing if you don’t create realistic and smart goals and actionable steps to get there.

As you can see, visualization is another tool to plan and achieve your goals. Visualization requires a deep understanding of your goals and the details it takes to get there. It uses images to motivate you to take action every day.
