Are you afraid of failure?

Being afraid of failure is something many people experience.  Nearly 33% of Americans report that fear of failure prevents them from realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. However, failure shouldn’t hold you back. In fact, achieving your goals and realizing your true potential requires it. Most of the success you see around the world is the result of it too. Through trial and error, you learn you learn the best strategies and information to achieve your goals.

When you embrace failure, you can better highlight your strengths and weaknesses. Even though it may feel uncomfortable at times, it doesn’t mean you can’t find the positive lessons to be learned. Use this failure to inspire personal growth to improve your skills and increase your confidence and self-esteem.

Life will never be perfect or comfortable all the time. When you learn to accept this fact, you can see that not all failure is miserable or the end of the world. What you perceive as failure won’t be similar to everyone else.

This means you should also take a moment to recognize what your definition of failure is. Then recognize or visualize the consequences to a better plan if it were to happen. Having an alternative plan or a better understanding of your fears and definition of failure provides information for decisions and setting the right goals or deadlines.
