Remuneration

Earlier this year, my calendar gave me the word remuneration.  As I looked at the word, I was struck by it immediately!   On several levels.   Remuneration is the act or fact of paying an equivalent to for a service, loss or expense.  Recompense, pay.

Remuneration in Spiritual Life

There is the conversation about being paid for services rendered.   This is not what I am talking about.   What I want to talk about is what we pay God* for the gift we have.  How are we repaying God for all that we have?   How does one do so?   Gratitude is a place to start.

Not everything is about the dollars.   There are enough Spiritual Churches out there that is their focus.  I am talking about true Spiritualism, that was founded on the principles that are spouted today.   I have to believe Andrew Jackson Davis, Cora L. V. Scott and the countless pioneers of Spiritualism are wondering what went wrong.  Probably much like the founders of this nation.  But that is another rabbit hole for another day.

Let Today Be a New Day

How do you start?  Start paying God back for all you have your remuneration does not have to be monetary.   In fact it is the random acts of kindness, a smile to a stranger or nature.   It is about leaving things better than you find them.   It is about teaching others what we know, and growing together.   Volunteering may be what guides you.  Be silent and let your heart guide you.   Start there and you will do just fine.

*I use God in the context of this writing, it is Spirit, Infinite Intelligence, Mother, Father, Creator or any other term you may use.
