positive nor negative

We often misread energy that is around us.   Often it is our lack of understanding of this energy and that it is neither positive nor negative, it is our perception of that energy.   What is positive to the spider is negative to the fly in its web.

There are two types of reactions to energy around us positive or negative. We gets trapped in the energy field which is stronger.  In a world where the focus is on hurt, hatred, cruelty, dishonesty it is pretty easy to get sucked into the negativity   Social media, newspapers and TVs from morning till night.  This creates a trap in the vicious cycle of negativity.

But to control these negative thoughts in overall world is not in our hands rather we can shield ourselves by creating positive aura around us to not allow it to affect our mind and soul.  People will do things that we do not understand and it can be hurtful.   How we react is totally within our control.  The amount of hurt we feel is a result of our actions and attitudes.

Relationships and Negativity

This negativity trap does not rest alone in the world view. You will see it in relationships, be it friend, family or business colleague.  In fact, you may be stuck in such a situation.   It may be safe to say you are trying to work through such a situation.   It is hard to change someone who is hell bent on seeing you in a negative light.  The more you try to fix the situation the more gasoline you through on the fire.   The hardest thing to do is to say nothing and distance yourself from the negativity.

More often than not, what “they” say about you is what they see.  Their vision is clouded by their own limitations.   People can only see from their perspective.  You cannot change what they see, when they do not want to understand.   The only thing you can do manage your reactions to the situation.  It may feel unfair and difficult to bear.   Just know that “this too shall pass”.

I know I have been there many times.   What I have learned is that it has nothing to do with you but the lesson that someone else needs to learn.  That in that moment you are the catalyst to something that needs to happen.  In this moment the energy is neither positive nor negative.  It just is. When you understand this, you find grace.

Every time I have found myself in such situation my guides tell me to hold still.  There is nothing I can do in the situation to change it.  Often Spiritual jealousy appears out of nowhere. That I must say nothing because often that moment is a test for the other person.  And to remember during a test the teacher is always silent.

Spirit has never failed me.  I share this with you in hopes that it helps you move through a tough time a little easier.  It is uncomfortable and not pleasant to go through.   Growth is not easy, but it is always worth it.
