Have you ever thought that Spirit quietly is leading you forward? Sometimes, the soul moves in ways we don’t fully understand. Looking back, I can see moments where I made choices my soul guided me toward, even if I couldn’t recognize the purpose at the time. One of the clearest examples for me is my spiritual development — the path that shaped my relationships, my career, and my personal growth.
As an adult, I returned to Lily Dale, a place I had visited as a small child with my grandparents. Coming back stirred memories I hadn’t thought of in years. Sitting under a tree, eating an ice cream cone, it all clicked. I realized something profound: The knowledge I wasn’t a freak. I had a purpose. That I belonged. In that moment I could see the moment of choice and know not to follow one and to go the other way. How could I have know that?
That quiet moment, simple as it was, captured a truth I had needed my whole life. Spirit had always been guiding me, nudging me toward experiences that would help me understand myself. Sometimes, the soul doesn’t move forward in a straight line. It revisits, reflects, and re-enters familiar spaces, giving us a chance to see what we couldn’t see before.
What would happen if your soul chose to start again — same life, same world — just to see what you’d do differently? Maybe the first time was about survival. Maybe the second time is about purpose. Mediumship teaches us to notice, to reflect, and to trust the journey, both visible and hidden.
