Energy, Presence, or Something More?

The question was simple, yet profound: Do you see the Divine as energy, presence, or something else entirely?

For me, the answer isn’t either/or—it’s both.

I often sense the Divine as energy. It moves quietly through all things, a current that connects life in ways we can’t always see. It’s in the synchronicities, the moments of clarity, and even in the breath that sustains us. Energy reminds me that Universal Energy  is not separate, but woven into the fabric of everything.

At the same time, I experience the Divine as presence. A companion beside me, whispering guidance when I need direction and offering comfort when life feels heavy. This presence feels deeply personal, as if Spirit knows me, walks with me, and gently nudges me forward.

The beauty of the Divine, I believe, is that it cannot be confined to one definition. Energy and presence are not opposites—they are expressions of the same sacred reality. One shows us how vast and universal energy is; the other reminds us how intimate and close it can be.

Perhaps the real invitation is to notice how the energy shows up for each of us, in ways both grand and tender.
