What is Channeling?

Channeling is the process of allowing information, energy, or presence from Spirit to flow through you—often in the form of words, writing, movement, or healing energy.

When someone channels, they are not making it up or guessing. They are surrendering to a connection that comes from a higher source—this could be Spirit guides, loved ones in Spirit, ascended beings, or collective consciousness.

There are many forms of channeling. Some people speak messages out loud in a flowing, inspired way. Others might write without consciously choosing the words (automatic writing). Some channel through art, dance, or music, allowing Spirit to move through them creatively.

It’s not possession, and you don’t lose control. You’re still present, but your conscious mind steps back a bit to allow Spirit to come forward more clearly.

For mediums, channeling can be part of delivering a message. For spiritual teachers, channeling can bring through guidance or philosophy. Some healers channel energy through their hands or presence.

At its heart, channeling is about trust, surrender, and deep listening. You don’t need to chase it. If it’s part of your path, it will unfold naturally as your awareness and relationship with Spirit deepens.

Personal Reflection through Journaling

    • Have you ever felt words or energy move through you in a way that surprised you?
    • What would it be like to trust that Spirit can speak through your voice, hands, or heart?
