The negativity surrounds all of us….

This was originally posted on August 10, 2016, it seems still important to talk about.

I have been seeing a disturbing trend in the people closest to me, in my real estate practice, in the spiritual community,  in my local, state and national governments and I am pretty sure globally.

In my Mediumship I connect with those that have passed away.   A reoccurring theme I am seeing is with Suicides Accidental Overdoses and early deaths because of controlled substances destroying the human body because the person decided to self-medicate instead of facing the real pain.

All of which leaves in their wake more sadness and anger for those left to deal with what happened.   Everything happens for a reason true, but perhaps we need to get smarter about life.

There is a lot of sadness, frustration and depression surrounding me lately.  I have a number of friends that are suffering the heartbreaking loss of loved ones.   I see things like the senseless Murder Suicide of a Family, increasing violence and unrest not only here in the US but world wide.

Why is it happening right now?

This time in history?  I watch the political process and for the first time in my life I am really scared for the results of this upcoming election.   Not because of Candidate A or B; but because most people don’t see there is another option.   They are so afraid of A or B getting in they are all aligning to the candidate that will ensure that the other won’t get in.   They are letting Fear totally and completely control their decisions.

I try to stay out of Politics…  I really do, it is always a heated discussion of who is right or better or less evil than their opponent.  People seem to only know what the media, Political Action Committees and friends tell them is the truth.

And therein lies the problem.   Everyone is making their decision on the lesser of two evils.

Someone’s well crafted 2 minute elevator speech to explain complicated situations to their advantage.   I think we as a country have stopped looking at what is best for the country and our neighbors.

We believe too much the garbage we are fed by media.  We have lost the ability to think for ourselves.   And those that do quickly get frustrated with what they are seeing.   Because the truth is a bitter pill most of us are not willing to swallow.

What does that have to do with Politics?

Well it has everything to do with it.   I see apathy, sadness and so many people desperate to stop feeling the all the pain that they are experiencing.   Watching, reading all that is going on, I wish I had more people to talk to about such things.  But many begin to get ugly and quite frankly I don’t have the time or energy for that.

I deal with delivering messages to loved ones after one of these events happens.   Let me tell you.   It is never easy.   I am not the only person that has been seeing this increasing trend.   It takes time to process what you are feeling.   The time it takes to figure out that what everyone says life should be isn’t what is meant to make you happy.   It isn’t the stuff that makes us happy, it is the people we have in our lives.

We are poisoning our minds and bodies.   There are few that are being good Stuarts of this planet.   We are less than good neighbors to each other.   Some of the things we do to those that we love, well that is just frightening.

People think for yourself.

Back in April I wrote Citizens Responsibility – To Keep Elected Officials Accountable.  As a nation, we all need to start thinking for ourselves.  What are the things that you value and what changes in this world would you like to see.   Vote for those that are in alignment with that.    Don’t just vote the Party Line.   Be willing to think independently and vote for those that can do better than the political back biting we are seeing today.  Don’t like what is going on, start to change the system.

Perhaps that will start the real healing we all need to do.   Stop thinking that A or B are the solution.  It isn’t easy, but who said life is?   Take control of what you can.   Stop feeding into this mess that we have.   If more people thought for themselves, just think how many problems would be resolved.   There is a need for change.   Clearly how things are right now is not working.

Just my two cents…
