music

Listening to music feels like curling up in my favorite blanket on a cold, rainy day. Music creates a space where we can freely feel sadness when we need to be sad, or anger when we need to be angry. It’s our best friend, offering comfort when it feels like no one else understands us. Music can make us feel alive and liberated, like nothing can stop us. Sometimes, it serves as our healer, making everything feel like it’s going to be okay.

This morning, I felt overwhelmed by everything going on in my life. Just then,  “Day by Day”— I haven’t heard in a long while —started playing. I laughed and smiled, thinking, “Well this is appropriate right now!” I knew it was a message from my guides to take each day as they come.

Music has a way of resonating with us in profound moments. Today, pay attention to the songs that pop into your day. Not the ones you hear on repeat and are tired of, but those that resonate with your current state of mind. Stop and think about why that song makes you feel the way it does, whether it’s a good or bad feeling. Notice how random it is that this particular song came on at this moment. Allow yourself to melt into it for a moment.

It could be someone you love who has passed coming to say hi, or your guides trying to tell you something important. Maybe it’s a reminder to pay attention to something you’ve been ignoring, or simply a song to make you smile. There are always signs around us if we just listen.

Why Music Speaks to Us

Music taps into our emotions in ways that words alone cannot. It’s a universal language that transcends barriers and connects us to our innermost feelings. Each note, each lyric, can stir a memory or evoke an emotion, acting as a bridge to moments and people in our lives.

When we listen to a song that resonates with us, it’s more than just a coincidence. It’s a form of communication from the universe, our guides, or loved ones who have passed on. These moments remind us that we are not alone and that there is a higher power looking out for us.

How to Tune Into These Musical Messages

Be Present: When a song catches your attention, stop and listen. Be present in the moment and allow the music to wash over you.

Reflect: Think about why this song resonates with you. What memories or emotions does it evoke? How does it relate to your current situation?

Stay Open: Be open to the idea that this song might be a message from beyond. Whether it’s a sign from a loved one or a nudge from your guides, stay open to receiving these messages.

Embrace the Emotion: Allow yourself to feel whatever emotions come up. Music can be a powerful healer, helping you process and release feelings that you might be holding onto.

Music is more than just entertainment; it’s a powerful tool for emotional healing and spiritual communication. The next time a song speaks to you, take a moment to listen deeply. You might find that the universe is trying to tell you something important. Embrace these moments, and let the music guide you through the highs and lows of life.

Remember, there are always signs around us if we just listen. So, what song will speak to you today?
