There are times when red flags appear, and they do so for a reason.  Much like the red flag you see on the beach these signs help keep you safe.  For those seeking guidance or simply curious, visiting a medium or psychic can be an enlightening experience. However, not every practitioner upholds the professionalism and ethics necessary for a positive and empowering session. Recognizing red flags is crucial, whether you’re a first-time client, a seasoned seeker, or even a skeptic testing the waters.

In my work and discussions within my spiritual circle, we’ve seen a range of concerning behaviors. By understanding what to look for, you can protect yourself from unethical practices and find a practitioner who truly aligns with your needs and values.

One of the most common red flags is a medium or psychic constantly seeking validation from you. If they’re repeatedly asking, “Does that make sense?” or fishing for confirmations to steer their reading, it could indicate a lack of confidence—or worse, a lack of genuine connection to Spirit.  A simple yes or no to this question is all that is needed.

A skilled practitioner delivers messages with clarity and allows Spirit to lead. They should offer insights without requiring constant approval from you.
