bravery is a journey

When you slow down and think that bravery is a journey and not the end result, it takes a lot of pressure off of you.  Embracing bravery might not always be a walk in the park, but hey, I’m living proof that even I have my moments of not feeling entirely fearless! But guess what? Today, I’m putting it all out there just for you. Let’s talk about the real deal: fear. It’s like that pesky little roadblock that tends to pop up when we’re trying to summon our inner superhero. Yep, being brave can seem like a wild rollercoaster of emotions. Your body might even throw a fit, begging you to dive into a blanket fort and hide away. Believe me, I’ve been there too.

Bravery is a Super Power

Now, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of when bravery becomes your trusty sidekick. Sometimes, it’s not about grand gestures or making huge decisions. It’s as simple as having the resolve to stay true to your path and take those baby steps forward, no matter how many fear-monsters are lurking around. One step at a time, and you’re already a brave rock star.

To all you warriors out there battling those nagging doubts, here’s a little spark of light and a virtual high-five to keep pushing forward. You’re not alone in this journey. You’ve got a bunch of cheerleaders (maybe even in superhero capes) rooting for you from the sidelines. And you know what’s even cooler? Your bravery has this ripple effect that spreads far and wide. By facing your own fears, you’re unknowingly giving others a motivational nudge too – even folks you’ve never met!

Bravery is a Journey

Repeat after me: you’re not alone in this. Seriously, you think you’re on a solo mission? Nope! There’s a whole squad of positivity-spreaders out there, showering support and good vibes on those who need it. Feeling like you’re trudging uphill in the search for support? Well, guess what? You’ve got options! There’s a treasure trove of support groups waiting for you to discover them. Oh, and don’t forget the magical world of Facebook groups – they’re like your secret passage to finding your support tribe. I can personally vouch for the wonders of connecting with others who’ve been down a similar road, like when I tapped into BRCA2 and sailed through my own surgery journey.

So, friend, don’t hesitate – reach out! Take that step and watch as your world becomes a brighter, braver place. You’ve got this, and you’ll be thrilled you took the plunge!
