Where Is My Spiritual Business Headed?
–a reflection from the middle of things
If you’ve been feeling like things are shifting under your feet lately, you’re not alone. I’ve been asking myself two big questions:
- Where is my spiritual business really going?
- What do I need to do to get it moving again?
The truth is, I’ve been creative lately—more than I’ve been in a while. I’m working on my second book, getting ready to launch several classes, and refining my message to speak more directly to women like me. That part feels good.
But I haven’t felt a lot of traction. Visibility and income have been quiet. And when that happens, it’s easy to second-guess everything.
So I pulled some cards to check in with Spirit. Here’s what I drew:
Ace of Swords, Six of Wands, Page of Swords, Knight of Pentacles, The Star.
At first glance, it felt positive—clear thoughts, forward movement, recognition, steadiness, and long-term hope.
But I also noticed something missing: not a single Cup in the spread. No obvious water. The lack of direct emotion. No heart. That absence really stood out—until I looked again.
Because The Star is there, and she is pouring water. One stream flows back into the pool—a return to the emotional self. The other soaks into the earth—grounding that emotional clarity in real life.
So maybe it’s not that emotion is absent. Maybe it’s just quiet right now. Waiting for me to come back to it. Not with urgency, but with trust.
Because the truth is, I’ve been doing all the right things, but there’s been a kind of emotional fog. Not burnout exactly, but more like…numbness. A quiet disconnection from the emotional side of this work that I used to feel so deeply. It’s been survival mode in some ways—just keep going, get it done, stay on track.
And I know I’m not the only one. The women I serve are also navigating big transitions. They’re in that middle space—between raising kids and releasing them, between full-time careers and what comes next, between care-giving for others and finally asking, What about me?
They’re craving clarity, but maybe even more than that—they’re craving connection.
Community. Honesty. Something real.
That’s where I believe my business is heading next—into deeper connection. Less polish, more presence. Less content for the sake of it, more heart-led offerings. A little less noise, and a lot more truth.
The Cards, in Real Life Terms
- Ace of Swords reminds me that I do know what I want to say. I just have to say it clearly.
- Six of Wands tells me I’ll be seen—but I have to show up first.
- Page of Swords encourages me to keep learning and asking questions. That beginner’s mindset is a strength.
- Knight of Pentacles says: keep going. Slow and steady is not failure—it’s devotion.
- The Star reminds me that I’m still on track. Even if I can’t see the results yet, the vision is alive and well—and healing is underway.
What’s Next?
I don’t have a perfect roadmap. But I do have my tools, my intuition, and the deep knowing that this work matters. If you’re also somewhere in the middle—figuring out what this next chapter of your life looks like—just know: you’re not alone.
If I could whisper one truth to the women reading this, it would be this:
Anything you want is possible.
You just have to go deep enough within yourself to define it.
And I’ll be here—writing, teaching, and walking beside you—as you do.
