Why me?  Why would my reaction to something someone else did be so important?

I used to react all the time to different people and situations.   I look back and see it was a sporting event to others.   They would get entertained by my reactions to situations.

I caught on and  I see things and let them go now.   No I do not  have an opinion on the situation–it is not needed.   I choose that it is not that important to show my reaction publicly.
There are times that it is more powerful to hold back.   Situations are created to create drama and entertain those that have nothing better to do. Other times it is someone screaming for attention that I have chosen to remove from my life.   Or it could just be completely random.
The hardest thing to do is not react to the person or situation.  Just observe and carry on.  Sometimes it is the most important thing to not react openly.   File the situation away for future reference.  Patience sometimes plays a very big role..
