Weekly Affirmation – Permission to Rest

Giving ourselves permission to rest is a struggle.  Life is full of things that must be done, in addition to all that we desire to do.  There never seems to be enough hours in a day.  But when we do too much we risk the chance of burning out.   Nobody performs well when they are burnt out.   This is where affirmations can assist you.   This weeks affirmation is as follows:

Preventing overload.  Remember that great performance requires quality rest.

About Weekly Affirmations

Each week I find it helpful to use affirmations.   I personally find using the same affirmation for 7 days more effective, so I will share them each Thursday with you.
You may ask why Thursday, well it usually is the day of the week that I struggle the most.   I found Sunday’s as a start not working for me, I tried then Monday and discovered that I would be stressed from work.
The discovery that the affirmation sits in my mind over the weekend that by Monday was a game changer.  It became part of me effortlessly.  You can use them as you see best fit.  There is no right or wrong with affirmations as long as you use them.   Using the affirmations in your daily life helps you build the life that you desire.

You have permission to rest!

Words have power — use them to your advantage to make today a great day for you!   If you are always saying you can’t do something you are setting yourself up for failure.
