Good Morning!
Good morning!  Last night was a late night. I turned off and went and enjoyed some live theatre in Delaware Park. FREE theatre at that. First class amazing production of A Winter’s Tale.  As always, my friend Laurie, who is in Spirit, was there — I got an amazing parking spot in front of the Rose Garden.
Before the show I spent some time walking in the Rose Garden before the production. I was fascinated by this fountain. The sound the water as it trickled down. It was a simple pleasure on a hot summer day.   The roses were beautiful and it was a peaceful start of a beautiful night.

Gratitude starts a Good Morning!

The evening was full of these moments of pleasure. Gratitude for the simple things like the tree that I sat below that gave me shade. The catching up with a friend as we enjoyed the show.  We talked about what is going on in our lives, the things not covered in Facebook statuses or tweets. Our hopes and desires for the rest of the summer and beyond. I encouraged her and she reminded me to get out of my own way of happiness. We have a few laughs and I even pulled my Tarot cards out.
What I realized was how lucky I am. Life is really good and I have so many great things going on. Things we all take for granted.
This made me think about so many people that just always seem to complain. They see the bad of things and choose to believe that instead of the truth in front of their eyes. They would much rather believe the bad than trust the good. Love when things all tie together in a neat package. The play was a cautionary tale about just that.
If you haven’t had a chance to get out to Delaware Park for this production go see it. Grab a few friend, disconnect from the greater World and connect more authentically. Trust me it is totally worth it…
