George Irwin and I have been friends for over 30 years and I can say he is very knowledgeable about Music.   With that, there was a lot in this talk that I learned about him.   This talk was done at the Plymouth Spiritualist Church on December 17, 2017. He talks about one of his loves – music and the power it has in his life.   The gift of it and memories of music and how it has shaped his life.

He asks what was your first song you remember.   His was It’s a Small World.   A total Disney classic, but he remembers it from the 1964 World’s Fair.    Writing this, I think back and what was the first song I remember?  Music didn’t have a big part in my family.   So it was music in church that I first remember and it was Christmas Carols that I remember the most.  But it was not sung, it was the Bell Choir.

Today music plays a huge part in my life.  I always have it playing in the car, and George and I are always sharing music between us.   We share this gift together.   It is wonderful.

I hope you too enjoy this talk!
