Tarot Tuesday: The Pages
The Pages of the Court cards are the most immature of them. Often they are messengers or they represent young children. Pages are not all that difficult to understand, you just have to know some details and which suit you are dealing with to know and understand them.
Pages – An overview
- The Page is often described as a young, immature person, who is a student or starting out in life. He is also often referred to as a child.
- Pages– Earth; Pentacles – Earth of Earth, Swords Air of Earth, Cups Earth of Water, Wands Earth of Fire
- Many times seeing a page indicates a beginning, they seek out security and often are thought of as messengers.
PAGE OF WANDS
Often referred to as passionate, energetic, zealous and very playful. Likes to show off and is trusting in nature. In the upright position it can mean good news about work or love. Reversed, it could represent someone who is selfish, moody or impatient or that their talent is being wasted and an indication of frustration and delays in work or love.
PAGE OF SWORDS
Often refers to someone who has great ideas yet lacks follow through and he represents pure thought. This person gets easily distracted. Can represent a very intelligent child, a lack of direction and can represent phone calls, text messages or emails. Reversed can represent confused or destructive thoughts, can represent vindictive behavior or bad news via phone, text, or email.
PAGE OF CUPS
This card indicates someone who is softhearted and very sensitive and places a lot of value on relationships. This person is spiritual in nature and very connected to their feminine side. This card indicates messages regarding feelings and ideas born out of emotions. Reversed indicates someone who is overly emotional, lack of creativity and most likely a run of back luck. They will indicated news regarding delays on a creative project or love.
PAGE OF PENTACLES
This indicates someone who is sincere, hardworking, diligent and a deep thinker. The person is grateful for what they have and they take great care of their possessions. Often represents a student or careful person, yet curious or could be learning something new at the time. Reversed generally means not paying attention to what they are learning, a small expense, a need for balance and an indication of a delay regarding practical or money matters.
