responsibility
With Mediumship there comes responsibility.  A friend of mine said this quote from Spiderman to me early on as I was coming into my own with my abilities.  Once you know the impact you have, you become responsible for it.  Better to say nothing when in doubt.
Pretty intense, right?   What does that really mean?   Well at times you will have to weigh the importance of what you are about to say.  Because you could scare the shit out of someone.   Trust me I have and I will never do that again.   It can happen innocently as it did with me.

Responsibility With Words

You have to learn to choose your words.   Words have power and they can comfort and they can crush the human soul.  So each day take care with the words you use.   Your inflection and facial expressions should be careful.   Phrases like “I think you (fill in the blank)”  should be avoided.   We should not insert our feeling or beliefs into the reading.   Yet so many do and it does a disservice to the sitter.
There is a reason why we avoid relationship and health questions.   We could be wrong.   So it is prudent that we stick to what Spirit is telling us and not put it through the color of our lenses.   I could be aware of a heart attack and a spirit that wants to communicate with the sitter.   Somehow I mess the details up, the heart attack was to help describe the Spirit.  Not a message warning that the sitter was going to have a heart attack.   See how that could happen?
Be careful.   Work with Spirit and be clear with them.   They will return the favor every time.
