I admit that I really do not care for winter.   I don’t like being cold.  I will admit that there are moments in winter that I find absolutely beautiful.

Like yesterday as I was leaving my friend’s home in Springville.   There was this beautiful blue sky, the sun was shinning and I could hear a bird chirping in the distance.   I stood there breathed in the beauty.  Today is not as pretty as yesterday.  That is ok, I have this memory to draw upon to keep me calm.

I am sharing that minute of peace with you today.  I want you to take a moment and appreciate where you are right here, right now.  So much has had to happen to get you to this point in your life.

Yes, it isn’t exactly where you want to be, but it doesn’t mean you cannot find beauty in the moment.   Too often we are looking at things that have failed or worried about the future to enjoy the now.

Just for today, find something that brings you joy.  Acknowledge it and enjoy all aspects of it.   You may just need it tomorrow….
