Weekly Affirmation – Confidence Begins With Me

When I realized that confidence begins with me, my world started to change.  Don’t get me wrong, I love hearing compliments.   The difference now is that the opinions of others does not define if I am doing the right thing.  I do.  As I learn, grow and know what I am doing is right; my confidence grows.  Yours can too!   Use affirmations to change your mindset.  It worked for me, it can for you too!
This week’s affirmation is as follows:

My confidence is not built by the compliments of others.
It is built on mastery and competence.

About Weekly Affirmations

Each week I find it helpful to use affirmations.   I personally find using the same affirmation for 7 days more effective, so I will share them each Thursday with you.
You may ask why Thursday, well it usually is the day of the week that I struggle the most.   I found Sunday’s as a start not working for me, I tried then Monday and discovered that I would be stressed from work.
The discovery that the affirmation sits in my mind over the weekend that by Monday was a game changer.  It became part of me effortlessly.  You can use them as you see best fit.  There is no right or wrong with affirmations as long as you use them.   Using the affirmations in your daily life helps you build the life that you desire.

Confidence Begins With Me!

Words have power — use them to your advantage to make today a great day for you!   If you are always saying you can’t do something you are setting yourself up for failure.
