Understanding your own limits is not easy.   As humans There has been a situation in my own life that I have struggled with.   I made a recent decision to just walk away.   I didn’t do it in anger, it was with great sadness. I did a lot of soul searching on this one.   The time I took was long and uncomfortable.  In the end I understood it was the best thing for all involved.

I realized that there was nothing that I could do to change or improve the situation.  A situation that caused me great pain.   This situation that everyone around me wanted me to fix it as they watched.   I so wanted to have the angry confrontation.   Instead I listened to my gut (being my guides).

It wasn’t my situation to fix.   I was polite, and I walked away.   It saddened me.   But I also realize that some battles are not mine to be fought.   Perhaps this will give you strength to do the same as well.   Understanding your own limits it the start to your happiness.
