Tonight’s full moon is significant because it also happens on Summer Solstice.   The last strawberry moon occurring on the solstice occurred on June 22 1967. The next one will be in 46 years — June 21, 2062.Full Moon
For me, that means this is the second one in my lifetime and living another 46 years I will see the next one.   This set me on a thinking process.   I know it can be dangerous.
But this moon is a little more than the half way point in my life.  The first one I was little more than 18 months old, so truth be told I don’t remember much.   I must trust Google and history to fill me in on that.   I am pretty sure my intentions were about basic survival at that point, probably the most complicated decision I made was what toy I was going to chew on.

The Summer of love

It was a time of sweeping change in this country (sound familiar???) and we are seeing change and all sorts of reactions to freedoms restricted by certain members of society.   You would think we would have learned a lesson by now.   There is widespread divide and not a whole lot of willing to listen and understand.
The sweeping changes that happened just in my lifetime are amazing.   When I look back at my childhood when it came to technology it is amazing the differences.   I remember the days of a rotary telephone and party lines.   Now almost everyone has their own phone with them at all times.   I remember stretching the phone into my room to have a conversation with a friend so I didn’t have to be in the middle of the kitchen.   We had record players and if you wanted to watch a show on TV you better be home to watch it.   Polaroid’s were high tech back then.    Today I carry one device that does all of that and more.
Unlike the last time this phenomena occurred, I have a voice. I have learned a few things over the years.    Tonight it is about intentions and what we want to manifest for ourselves in the future.  What I want for the world is more connectedness.   Less focus on the devices and more emphasis on the person in front of you.   Love, and understanding.
