I am fascinated by women in the late 1800’s and what inspired them.   Here is a woman that fought for racial justice for the American Indians and African Americans.  In 1915, Katherine founded Xavier University in New Orleans, the first Catholic University in the United States for African-Americans.
She was the second American to be named a Saint.    Something tells me her love and example is needed right now in this world.
