It is Halloween and technically one of the scariest nights of the year.  Not so anymore it is a banner day when people just get along.   Everyday is scary from the way we are treating each other to all the negativity out there.   Everyone is leading from fear and it is not a good thing.

There is a huge need right now for kindness to one another.   I don’t know about you but I am tired of all the negativity that seems to be surrounding the world right now.    I am not the only one who is experiencing this and it would be so much easier to just not take the time to help others.   Especially when it is not appreciated.

Every day we are given opportunities for being kind and folks we are blowing it big time.     All because we are “too busy” or we don’t want to help “that person.”    I want to challenge you this week to not be too busy and help the person you really don’t like.    Because right now that person is desperately in need of a little kindness and let’s face it busy is an excuse.

I can tell you it took a few moments out of my day to do this for someone recently.   What happened for that person was transformation of a negativity pattern into one that was way more productive.   All because I took a few moments to help encourage them.

I look back and see that there were those that did the same without fanfare or boasting that helped me on my journey.  I bet if you take a moment you too will relate to what I am saying.   Folks it is time to step up and put more kindness out there.   Perhaps by doing so there won’t be these divides between people.

Not an easy proposition, trust me I know.   I am just asking that if you can find a way to put some kindness out there that things may just change.    Don’t do it because you will get an award or a pat on the back.   Do it because it is the right thing to do.   Do it without expectation of anything in return.

Writing and publishing my book it was all about helping others.    That I may never know who it may help along the way.    I had a strong belief that it just needed to be out there.   Just like I write here about things that matter.   So today I am going to give someone the benefit of the doubt and try.   Every day is an opportunity to change the world.   What are you doing to make it a better more loving place to live?
