stuck in mud

Inspiration StumpDo you feel as if no matter how hard you try you are stuck in the mud?   Like you feet are in mud even though you want to move forward but so for some reason you cannot move?

Perhaps it isn’t mud but quicksand.  You are overwhelmed and exhausted.   The loneliness is powerful and you just want something good to happen.

I can relate.  My situation may not be the same as yours, but I get the feeling.   After a very long time, I finally got my feet out of the mud and onto dry pavement.   How I got out of the mud may be different than how you get out.  I write this because it has a lot to do with gratitude.   Like much that I write this is a little crumb for someone to find when they need it the most.   It is also a way to pay it forward to all those that have helped me along the way.

Moving in the Right Direction

My life is starting to move in the direction that I want.   It did not happen over night and as fast as I wanted.  I can say I am honestly not where I want to be.  Guess what, that is okay.    What I can say is the movement started when I started to be grateful for the small things.

Attitude of gratitude.  A friend started me with it.  Mainly because I was always so sad and depressing to be around.  This was a great gift they gave me.   I realize that I focus more on the good than the bad that is going on.   The more that I focus on the gratitude for the little things, more good that happens for me.   Try it.   You too may just get your feet on dry pavement as well.
